Well things have been very busy and a little rough, so I am trying to make my life somewhat normal again by getting back to doing things that I love! I would just like to take a quick minute and tell everyone thanks for the nice posts that were left about my mom it is good to know that I have such great people in my life that care! Here are some fun pics of Spencer from tbe last few weeks! We have been trying some new things like t-ball and trips to the movie! We have also been working dilligantly on potty training and I must say he is doing a wonderful job! We are in big boy underwear all day (except for naps and at night) Way to Go Spencer!

Love You Mom!

I just wanted to take a few moments and let everyone know how much my mom means to me! She is and always will be a great wife, mom, and grandma! I have such a heavy heart in knowing that she is no longer with me but I also find peace in knowing that she is in a better place and is truly free of her pains and trials! I know that the coming days and months will be hard, but if there is one thing that me and my family have learned through this whole ordeal is that no matter how hard the struggle or how long the fight, we will always have each other to lean on! These last 5 1/2 months have been really hard but they are precious moments that my family and I will treasure forever! I love you mom and may you finally rest peacefully! With Love, Jenny

I just wanted to take second and let everyone know that my mom passed away this morning, It is a very hard thing to deal with but also brings a little bit of peace with it! Lots of love to all of those people that have been really supportive!

Way To Go

Well I havn't updated about my mom for a while so I thought I would take a few minutes and do so! She is doing pretty good she is off of the ventilator and on a very low level of oxygen. She still has the trach and she likes to rip it out occasionally although it hurts and she knows that it hurts we can't figure out why she continues to do so. I also got word from my dad today that she stood up to her walker and walked back and forth between her bed and the door three times with minimal assistance! Yeah for her this is the first time since October 2nd that she has actually gotten out of bed and walked so I think this is a move in the right direction!

Crazy Life

Well things have been so crazy the last week or two I feel like I have been in a whirlwind! As you can see from the pics we got to go to the Jazz vs. Lakers game cause Evan entered a contest to win a 42 inch flat panel HDTV and he won, so he got to go down on the court during a timeout and accept his prize, so it is nice to have a new TV in the room. Plus I can't believe I was that close to Kobe Bryant. I also was spoiled for Valentines Day (which I thought Vegas was our presant) but I was able to go and pick out a new bedroom set and also got a new digital camera so I am so excited since my other camera is about 5 years old and it is a sad day when your cell phone takes better pics then your camera! On a down note we have been battling RSV for the last week I feel so bad for spencer he has been so miserable but I think we are on the mend. I hope everyone had a great Valentines Day!
